Reid Burridge, Tea Master
Reid Burridge has been studying Tea for over 30 years.
He received a scholarship to study Tea in Kyoto, Jpan in 1987 at the Urasenke School of Chanoya for one year. He later received his Tea Name “So Shin” from the 15th headquarters, So Shitsu Sen.
Reid specializes in the practice of Ryurei-style Tea Ceremony. This style is most distinguished by performing the tea ceremony sitting at a table instead of kneeling on the floor.
Reid offers classes and performs a Japanese Tea Ceremony for a small group and a celebration.
